Issue #67 (Under "reviews")
"I'm quite amazed by this-Dave Fishwick http://www.theneussubjex.com/issue67.htm
latest release from this girl (JO) and the band (The MFers). This CD has
brought back the brutal vocal style of the hole (RIOTGRRL) thing that tends to
pop up from time to time. But don't get me wrong... and this is the way
it was meant to be. It's ROCK/PUNK/SOULFUL, and most of all just plain
out great. Three songs that are just a taste of what's to come, and I can't wait!
Fans of (The Dropkick Murphy's), (Tommy and the Terrors) should really take
hold of this CD. I have a feeling that this is just the beginning of more
great albums to come. Send this girl an e-mail and show your support, or
check out her website. You have nothing to lose but a good time. DO IT
NOW!!!"

"Israeli American street-brawl punk 'n' roll".
"Stay out of her way".
"Lots of ladies this week.. three self released gals. But only one of the former wears her Rose Tattoo fanhood on her sleeves, and could probably kick your arsewhile drinking you under the table.”-Chuck Eddy

"..When i looked at the sleeve-Pete
i thought this was a new band from Shirley Manson as she looks a lot like her
in those 2 pictures. Sounds trebly old style punk and sort of sounds like a
blend of say X Ray Spex, Daisy Chainsaw and Blondie."

(About Josephin's EP): "The CD rocks! I love The Down-Right Rawness of it! I play it on my show and you canalso get it on demand any time!"

"..The girl named JO on the cover of the three-song Jo and the MFers EP, on the other hand, could kick his ass and possibly all of ours too. In the photo she is wearing a quitefetching Rose Tattoo T-shirt, sadly appropriate this week though that's just a coincidence I'm sure, and
it may even make her more badass. And with her EP's catchily shouted barstool street-brawl punk'n'roll, she earns it. She has sung backup for the Dropkick Murphys on their "Code Of Honor" Hellcat records release 2006. But she is Isreaeli rather than
Irish."

"I dare you to listen once!
Jo's whipsmart lyrics and phrasing combine with her powerhouse vocals and a
great backing group to create a-Spike
sound you won't find anywhere else. Fresh and tight--get ready to
move!!"
