A bomb is almost always used in a negative connotation. I say lets flip that on it's head! And use the power of music as a bomb! A bomb against injustices! A bomb against war! A SONIC Bomb! My EMPOWERING ANTHEMS will spread the message & make a difference!
This single is going to be THE single of my upcoming solo album A Sonic Bomb- Fighting injustice with harmonics! TM this specific version is a special limited edition version that will be re-recorded this winter for the actual album. This version is a part of a 4 song EP by Josephin all representing a sneak peek into the upcoming album, which will be a big production, and an anthem packed empowering and innovative album for posterity!

NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION ANTHEM By Josephin

I've been a loyal fan of New England's soccer team (or football as we would call it in Israel) The New England Revolution for many years now.
MY New England Revolution anthem is not only meant to be a loving tribute to my favorite soccer team (as i wrote in the song's lyrics: "you're the team for me", "Revolution- i love you more and more", "in the freezing rain you're best- in over time you score", "your spirit i adore"), but also as an attempt to capture the spirit of New England and of the people of New England today ("your untamed heart is free", "with passion and pride", "devoted i will always be", "with honor"). And a nod to the history of the New England Revolution which is the source of this spirit ("New England is my home of freedom and of liberty", "with honor we stride", "the musket guns are firing and the colors (-as in flags) fly galore", "folks of all walks of life for once uniting"). It speaks to me this fighting spirit, this this revolutionary spirit, the passion, honor and pride which won the patriots their freedom and liberty from the rain of the English. I'm also trying to insinuate to the beating drum of battle with the marching style snare drum parts and with the words "heart beating inside". And on a very personal note: that feeling of belongingness ("You make me feel like i am part of something. You make me feel like i belong") that i feel when my friends and i along side all these strangers chant our hearts out for the Revies from the stands is especially touching for me as a foreigner who moved to boston years ago but took a long time to find any sort of belongingness which i craved so much when i knew no one here and had to start my entire life from scratch.

This song is about saying NO. If you are being used, abused, manipulated, made to feel low down.. At your work place, at home, with your spouse, with your child. Speak up! Act like you've got nothing to loose and stop the cycle of injustice!
The point of this song is to empower people that have become so used to letting pain be part of their lives that they accept pain as a natural reality. NO! Don’t let it become your reality! Speak up! Refuse to be abused! Refuse to be manipulated/pushed around/ tread upon. With these two little letters are powerful. Make the decision to stop swallowing the pain like a bitter pill. Stop feeling helpless! You have the power to change this feeling. You have the power to say NO!
Do it! Say NO! Say NO to the principle of accepting pain as your reality. No matter who or what the source of that pain is. Say NO to that source. An absolute N.!!!O.!!!
